Gwen Stefani turned to the ultimate sartorial muse for her latest look – none other than the fictional character Daisy Duke.
The singer's husband, Blake Shelton, shared a series of photographs on August 18 of the couple performing at Voices of America Country Music Fest – and all eyes were on Gwen's outfit.
The 56-year-old rocked a pair of micro mini denim shorts, styled with a black corset that was layered over a white tank top. The ensemble was completed with a pair of floral-embroidered cowboy boots and a layer of silver chain necklaces.
Gwen's luscious blonde locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a smoky eye and her signature bold red lop. Meanwhile, Blake wore a dark navy shirt with a pair of jeans. The photograph captured the pair gazing into each other's eyes as they sang on stage together.
"Last week at @voacountrymusicfest.." Blake penned in the caption.
Gwen has always taken careful consideration when it comes to her performance outfits. "I remember back when No Doubt was just starting out: We didn't have a record out, and I was in school. I would spend my time daydreaming about what I was going to make for my costumes. That's something I've always done. As soon as I knew we had a show, I'd be off to the fabric store. And I'd be really excited. It's just something I've always, always done," she told Glamour in August 2009.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's home life
The musical duo met on The Voice and went public with their relationship in late 2015. In 2020, they announced their engagement to Instagram and a year later tied the knot at Blake's Oklahoma ranch. The ranch features 1,300 acres of land, four bedrooms, a horse barn and several ponds. The duo currently split their time between Oklahoma and Los Angeles, where they own a $14 million mansion in Encino. Gwen shares three sons, Kingston, 19, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11, with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.
"I don’t even care if I miss an opportunity by not responding to a text or a phone call," Blake said of his time in Oklahoma. "It’s really the only way I can maintain some sanity," he previously told Forbes.
Blake quit The Voice in 2023 and left his longtime label Warner Music Nashville a year later. "I just turned it off and went to the house," he shared. "I don’t think anybody really thought I would indulge like that, when I said I’m going to the farm, and I’m just going to the farm. And that is truly what I did."
He continued: "It was just too good of a job to walk away from, until one day the frustration outweighed everything else."
