Bill Clinton hit the big 8-0 on August 19. In celebration of his milestone birthday, Hillary Clinton shared a heartwarming carousel featuring throwback photos, one in which Bill looks unrecognizable.
Although we all may know the former President for his elegant silver locks, he rocked a very different hairstyle back when he attended Yale Law School in the early '70s, and met his soon-to-be-wife.
In one of Hillary's throwback pictures, Bill was spotted with longer, layered hair and a beard, believe it or not. His style over the years has also drastically changed, as he went from donning casual looks, to mostly suits.
In the sweet photo, Hillary also had long straight hair, in contrast to her iconic short hairstyles over the years.
© InstagramThe carousel was also a loving time capsule filled with the pair's most special moments such as their wedding, their daughter Chelsea Clinton's birth and growth over the years, and their dance at the Inaugural Ball.
The former first lady shared a heartwarming note for Bill in the caption, writing: "Happy birthday, dear Bill. Eighty years into your extraordinary life, [and] I feel very lucky to have spent over 50 of them with you. Here's to more dancing, talking, and laughing together in the years to come."

During a speech in 2016, Bill recalled the time he worked up the nerve to ask Hillary out, revealing: "I turned red and she laughed that big laugh of hers, and I thought well, [expletive], since my cover's been blown, I just went ahead and asked her to take a walk down to the art museum."
He gushed: "We've been walking and talking and laughing together ever since and we've done it in good times and bad too – joy and heartbreak…We've built a lifetime of memories."
