Rachael Ray likes to spend as much time in as possible at her restored centuries-old home in Tuscany - and for good reason!

The celebrity chef recently shared a new cooking video from her gorgeous Italian kitchen on social media, showing viewers how to best use figs - while making a chicken and fig dish.

The background showed a glimpse of Rachael's rustic cooking area, complete with a white tiled wall, artwork and a stunning farmhouse sink with a gold tap.

The new appearance delighted fans, with many remarking on her home, while others said she should do a new cooking show.

Rachael's joyful footage follows shortly after several followers commented on a recent video asking if she was "okay" due to claims that she looked noticeably different. Her loyal fans were quick to jump to her defence.

The star, 57, has been keeping a relatively low profile since 2025, after a difficult few years, including "a couple of bad falls" outside her New York home in 2024, her mother's death and several tragedies involving her properties.

Rachael, who is married to entertainment lawyer and musician John M. Cusimano, watched her home in Lake Luzerne, New York, burn down in 2020 after a fire broke out in the roof. Only a year later, their New York City apartment flooded after Hurricane Ida swept through, leaving tens of thousands of dollars' worth of damage behind.

Rachael now prefers to be in Italy - the very place she got married back in 2005. "I prefer to be in Italy because it's quiet, and the dog hates New York," she told People

She then discussed her personal connection to the country. "My family is from Italy, and I've always wanted to live in Italy," she said.

"It's my life's dream. And I'm in my 50s. I worked my whole life to live there. And we have a huge garden, orto, and we make our own wine. We press our own olive oil. We have a freshwater pool so my dog can drink water and swim at the same time. I just love the peace of it and the smell of the air. You can just breathe.

"And everything is quiet. And you're on a different time zone, so people don't even try and find me. I'm six hours ahead, so people don't even try and find me until much later in my day, so I'm more mentally prepared for it by then."
