Kim Kardashian just proved that the visible bra trend is very much here to stay as we slowly transition into autumn. The 45-year-old graced This Is About Humanity’s 8th Annual Soiree in Hollywood on August 29.
The fashion mogul stunned in a cream-colored Maison Margiela knitted cropped cardigan that was worn off the shoulders. The garment was left partly unbuttoned to reveal her vintage black bullet bra beneath. Kim styled the knitwear with a Faycal Amor satin maxiskirt in a glossy champagne hue. The gold silk was layered over a sheer taupe lining. The skirt featured lace detailing across the waist that perfectly matched the lace-up style of her vintage Manolo Blahnik Prisca sandals.
Kim's luscious locks were left down in soft waves while her makeup exuded glamour, courtesy of a dark smoky eye and her signature nude lip.
The star's look takes inspiration from the resurrection of visible bras on the runway. During Miu Miu’s autumn/winter 2025, Miuccia Prada revived the bullet bras of the 1950s as she layered them beneath ribbed knits. Their conical shape also poked out from under ruffled silk dresses. During the same season, Simone Rocha styled fuzzy fur bras with leather jackets and billowing skirts, while Sarah Burton at Givenchy layered delicate bras beneath sheer mesh dresses.
The founding mogul of the bullet bra was none other than Madonna during her 1990 Blonde Ambition tour. The nude garment was originally designed by Jean Paul Gaultier for his autumn/winter 1984 show.
Kim Kardashian's secret to her flawless figure
The cropped silhouette exposed Kim's toned abs that are no doubt courtesy of her disciplined workout routine. "It’s about moving with mindfulness, learning proper form and breathing patterns, and then progressively getting stronger in a way that’s safe," Kim's trainer, Senada Greca, told SELF.
"It should feel like playtime. We’ve built this mindset that working out is something we have to do, instead of something we get to do."
"She’s [Kim] very busy – but she prioritizes working out. It’s in her schedule. She shows up. There’s no negotiation," shared Senada. Kim's routine blends lower body-strength training with upper-body exercises, core sessions, and full-body circuit training.
"This foundational hinge movement strengthens the glutes and hamstrings while reinforcing proper lifting mechanics, helping build total-body strength and stability through a controlled range of motion," Senada explained of dumbbell Romanian deadlifts. "This upper-body staple strengthens the back and arms while improving grip and overall body control, teaching you to lift and stabilize your own bodyweight," she added about assisted pull-ups.
