Irina Shayk just revealed what laid beneath the bondage-inspired vintage gown she graced the 83rd Venice International Film Festival red carpet in.

The supermodel took to Instagram following the event to share a sultry behind-the-scenes snap of her lingerie ensemble. Irina wore a silky black balconette bra with a pair of matching micro underpants. The set was completed with thigh-high sheer stockings and a pair of pointed-toe pumps. Irina wore the same diamond-encrusted choker and matching ring that she rocked on the red carpet.

For the opening night, Irina slipped into a black dress from Dolce & Gabbana's spring 2003 collection. The satin look, which was originally debuted by Gisele Bündchen to open the runway show, featured a corseted bodice with a figure-hugging silhouette and plunging, sweetheart neckline. The sides of the dress boasted intricate lace-up detailing adorned with studded loops for a daring cutout look that exposed Irina's black briefs and brassiere.

Irina's luscious brunette locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a smoky eye and a glossy nude lip.

Meanwhile, for the L’estranea premiere on September 7, the supermodel opted for yet another all-black ensemble. The high-neck, low-back black dress featured ruched detailing and long sleeves for a monochromatic, sleek finish. The garment was styled with the Anna boots from Camper‘s third collaboration with Issey Miyake.

Irina Shayk's supermodel secrets to toned figure

The star previously admitted that her fast metabolism is thanks to "good genetics", but she also is dedicated to her workout routine that blends jiu-jitsu with barre exercises and boxing. "I hate traditional cardio," she admitted to Women's Health. "Running is my worst nightmare, so I’ve had to find something I enjoy that gets me all the calorie-burning benefits of cardio without boring me to death."

She continued: "I started jiu-jitsu with my personal trainer and it’s great. It's a Japanese self-defence discipline, but because there’s so many possible move combinations, it's brilliant for constantly challenging my body and pushing it to exhaustion every time."

Irina maintains a disciplined routine when it comes to her workout days. "I do it four times a week when I’m at home in New York, then if I’m travelling I try to work out in my hotel room or at work during breaks, focusing on simple barre moves that don’t need any equipment and really work my arms and bum," she explained.

"These lengthening exercises also help to stretch me out and help clear any water retention, which I tend to get after long-haul flights. Grabbing workout time whenever I can means constantly carrying my kit around with me, so I’ve totally embraced athleisure – if I can turn up to a shoot in the same chic clothes I can wear to exercise, it saves me so much time and effort!"
