Nicole Kidman was a vision on the 2026 Emmy Awards red carpet on Monday night, in what was her first appearance at the awards show in nine years.
The 59-year-old dazzled in an ethereal pale blue Chanel gown featuring a plunging neckline framed by plush, feathery trimming that wrapped around her arms.
The dress, which also featured a daring thigh slit, showcased the actress's svelte figure and tall stature, and she paired the look with simple black pumps.
Nicole kept the accessories to a minimum and wore her blonde locks in a chic updo with framing pieces falling down around her face.
An ultra-rare appearance
The Australian star attended the awards show alongside the cast of Margot's Got Money Troubles, the hit Apple TV series that she executive produced.
The show, which is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman.

Nicole has not made an appearance at the Emmy Awards since 2017, when she took home the prize for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie following her performance in Big Little Lies.
She was also nominated for an Emmy for her role in 2012's Hemingway and Gellhorn.
Paying tribute to her family
During her acceptance speech in 2017, Nicole made sure to thank her then-husband, country star Keith Urban, and their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith.
"I also am a mother and wife. I have two little girls, Sunny and Faith, and my darling Keith, who I ask to help me pursue this artistic path, and they sacrifice so much for it," she said.
"So this is yours. I want my little girls to have this on their shelf, and think every time my mom didn't tuck me in bed it's because of this – I got something."
She added: "Also, I want them to know that sometimes when you're an actor you get a chance to bring a bigger message and this is their contribution and your contribution."
Nicole and Keith's shocking split
Nicole and Keith parted ways in September 2025 after almost two decades of marriage, with the actress retaining primary residential custody of their daughters.
Nicole has been open about the pain of her divorce from Keith, and shared with British Vogue that she was doing her best to move on from the unexpected setback.
"I'm like, 'Okay, I didn't expect this, I had a different view of what my life was going to be, but this is what it is now,'" she explained.
"You make all these plans, and you have all these ideas of what it's all going to be like, and then it's…not."
"You have to adjust. You adapt. The future, it's completely unknown to me right now," the mother of four continued.
"There was a point where I was very fearful and deeply vulnerable, which is exposing. And then at the same time [I'm] going, 'Well, I can either really not confront it and just curl up, or I can just go forward with an enormous amount of hope.'"
