Back to the Future fans instantly recall Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, but the beloved trilogy wouldn't be complete without the bully, Biff Tannen.
The role was played to perfection by actor, Thomas F. Wilson and Biff — along with his descendants Griff and Buford 'Mad Dog' Tannen — became an iconic movie figure.
But when the Back to the Future films wrapped in 1990, what happened to Thomas? Here's what we know about the actor 35 years on.
Actor turned artist

Thomas studied art at the Laguna College of Art and Design and became a professional painter. His work ranges from pop art depicting classic toys to detailed landscapes and has been featured in galleries across the United States.
Taking a stand
© WireImageDespite his bullyish role, in real life, Thomas is quite the funnyman. He has been a comedian since his early twenties, and spent years touring as a stand-up comic.
In a bid to combatthe barrage of fan questions about Back to the Future, including "What's Michael J. Fox really like?"or "Was that real manure?" he famously wrote the hilarious "Biff's Question Song," so he could get all the frequently asked questions out of the way in one musical routine.

Thomas didn't just play Biff, he contributed heavily to the script as he later revealed he improvised the term "butthead," as well as the famous idiom: "Make like a tree and get out of here."
Throughout the movies, Thomas was able to play different versions of Biff: from the teenage bully and shy car-waxer to the wealthy tyrant, old man Biff, and the Western outlaw.
He was bullied at school

Thomas is happily married

They share four children, Anna May, Emily, Gracie, and Tommy, and currently reside in Los Angeles.
Thomas is also a devout Catholic who released a contempary Christian album in 2000.
