Brad Pitt turned his latest racing appearance into a family occasion, posing with his younger brother Doug Pitt and sister Julie Neal before the NASCAR Cup Series Bass Pro Shops Night Race in Bristol, Tennessee.
The 62-year-old actor joined his siblings on the grid at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 19, smiling alongside them before taking on his role as grand marshal.
Julie stood between her brothers for the photographs, with all three leaning together against a backdrop of packed grandstands. In one image, Brad reached towards the camera with an enthusiastic thumbs-up while Doug and Julie beamed beside him.
The actor wore an olive-green bomber jacket over a brighter green T-shirt, paired with blue jeans. A camouflage Bass Pro Shops cap and oversized metal-framed glasses completed his relaxed outfit, while a neatly trimmed grey beard framed his smile.
Doug opted for a black short-sleeved shirt and jeans, adding bracelets and a necklace. Julie wore a black zip-front jacket with brown checked trousers, styling her highlighted hair in loose waves around her shoulders. All three wore event passes, with Julie's name clearly visible on her credential.

Brad's visit came with an official responsibility. Ahead of the event, NASCAR announced that he would serve as grand marshal for the Bristol Night Race.
For the family photographs, however, the focus was firmly on the three siblings. Doug and Julie, who pursued careers outside Hollywood, joined their older brother for a rare opportunity to be photographed together at such a high-profile event.

Brad was the eldest of three children raised by William and Jane Pitt in Springfield, Missouri. Doug was born in 1966, followed by Julie in 1969.
While Brad built his acting career, Doug established himself in business, working in technology and property alongside his charitable projects. He founded Care to Learn, an organisation supporting schoolchildren with urgent health, food and hygiene needs.

Doug and his wife Lisa share three children, while Julie and her husband Rob Neal have five, including two sons adopted from Ethiopia.
Speaking to WorldServe International in 2018, Julie explained how adoption had broadened her perspective beyond her immediate community. "We have the space, the love ... all of our kids were on board," she said. Her connection to Ethiopia subsequently helped inspire her work as a water ambassador for the organisation.

Doug has occasionally stepped into the spotlight himself, including a humorous Virgin Mobile campaign in 2012 that played on his life as Brad's less famous sibling.
That same year, he spoke to Australian radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa on Nova FM about the inevitable questions that followed an introduction.
"I appreciate the interest, I understand why people want to ask about him," he said.
Doug explained that he had spent decades fielding variations of the same enquiries, from how often he saw Brad to when his brother might next visit. He admitted that answering could become almost automatic, although he understood the curiosity.
The advertising campaign allowed him to have some fun with that attention while raising awareness of his own charitable work.

Brad previously reflected on the effort his father William made to spend time with his children, despite working long hours.
In a 2011 interview with Parade, he recalled William working for most of the week before taking the children fishing at weekends. Becoming a parent himself, Brad explained, had given him a greater appreciation of the energy and commitment that required.
He also remembered a lesson from his father during a school tennis tournament. Frustrated with his performance, Brad had been throwing his racket and losing his temper when William approached the court and asked whether he was enjoying himself.
When Brad admitted he wasn't, his father suggested he stop. The exchange relieved the pressure he had put on himself and stayed with him long after the match.
Looking back, Brad connected that encouragement to his decision to move to California and pursue acting. "So finding something you love to do has been a big guideline for me."
