Lauren Sanchez made a glamorous entrance in a plunging black gown as she joined husband Jeff Bezos at President Donald Trump's state dinner at the White House on September 24.
The couple arrived holding hands for the Washington, DC celebration honouring China's President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan, with Lauren choosing an off-the-shoulder design and a sparkling pendant necklace.
Lauren's gown featured a deep V-neckline framed by folded fabric, with bands sitting across her upper arms. Gathering through the waist added definition to the fitted silhouette.
Lauren accessorised with a rectangular black clutch, allowing her statement necklace to take centre stage against the dress's open neckline. Her long brunette hair fell in loose curls over her shoulders, while softly defined eyes and a pink lip completed the look.
Jeff coordinated in a black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie, adding sunglasses as the pair made their way into the event.

The evening brought together political figures and business leaders, with a guest list featuring several prominent names from the technology industry.
Attendees included OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman, Nvidia boss Jensen Huang, Google's Sundar Pichai and Microsoft's Satya Nadella.
The menu also reflected the occasion. First Lady Melania Trump's office described the dishes as combining American ingredients with Chinese influences, with sea bass among the courses prepared for guests.

Lauren has spoken openly about the women and cultural influences behind her wardrobe.
"I love fashion, and I love the Latin culture," she told Elle editor-in-chief Nina Garcia in a September 2024 interview.. "I dress very Latin. Think of Sofía Vergara. Think of Salma Hayek."

That interest in fashion took her to this year's Met Gala, where she wore a Schiaparelli gown inspired by John Singer Sargent's Madame X.
"I really do believe that fashion is art," she told Vogue in May. Working with designer Daniel Roseberry and stylist Law Roach, she wanted a silhouette that highlighted her waist.
For beauty, she described trusting her makeup, hair and nail team to bring their own ideas to the occasion.

Away from formal events, Lauren has described exercise as a regular part of married life.
"Some people meditate, I work out," she told Vogue ahead of her June 2025 wedding, explaining that she and Jeff typically shared coffee and conversation before heading to the gym.
She said she had maintained her usual workouts ahead of the wedding, rather than adopting a specific diet, although she had temporarily avoided alcohol and reduced salt. Her enthusiasm for food remained unchanged: "Food is such a big part of life. I'm Latin!"
