Sydney Sweeney has officially found her leading man for one of Hollywood’s most anticipated new projects, and fans are already swooning over the casting choice.

The Euphoria and The Housemaid star is set to headline Hollow, a reimagining of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. 

And as if that's not exciting enough, starring opposite is a breakout actor fans have been petitioning to be named People's Sexiest Man alive.

Belmont's jawline and smoldering screen presence will be familiar for Off Campus fans, since he plays hockey player Garrett Graham in the Prime Video romantic drama.

The actor's charisma in the role catapulted him to instant heartthrob status with his passionate fanbase launching a viral online petition demanding he earn the coveted sexiest man crown. 

He's a real life hero

Belmont's Hollywood good looks and effortless charm are alluring enough, but he's also a real-life hero.

The actor previously offered to donate a kidney to his childhood friend, Brendan, only to discover he wasn't a match. But he was able to donate to a stranger when he joined a paired kidney exchange program. 

This set off a 14-person organ transplant chain that saved seven lives, including Brendan's. He was only 19 years old at the time. 

What else do we know about Hollow?

According to Deadline, the movie is set to be a seductive, supernatural mystery. It'll involve a love triangle between Sydney, Belmont and another actor who is yet to be cast as Ichabod Crane.

The story will be told through Sydney's character, Katrina Van Tassel, and with Sydney and Belmont at the helm, it is likely that plenty of heat will be brought to the spooky classic.

Belmont found love in real life with TV writer Raina Morris. 

The couple have kept a very low profile since they began dating around March 2025.

Raina is in the entertainment industry and has worked as a writer on Netflix’s smash hit series Emily in Paris, as well as TV shows such as Neon and Apple TV+’s Schmigadoon!. 

The pair have appeared on each other's Instagram accounts on occasion.
