Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn Blum presented a united front at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, smiling together as the musician wrapped an arm around her waist.
The couple's appearance came two years after the Foo Fighters frontman revealed he had welcomed a daughter outside their marriage and pledged to regain his family's trust.
Dave and Jordyn stood close together before turning towards one another and laughing. The rocker was also seen pointing towards the cameras while keeping his arm around his wife.

Jordyn chose a black gown with delicate spaghetti straps and a straight neckline for the occasion. Its fitted, dropped-waist bodice gave way to a voluminous gathered skirt, with a raised front hem revealing her pointed black heels.
The skirt swept down into a long train, adding drama to the otherwise understated design. She kept her accessories minimal, carrying a small black handbag and wearing her platinum-blonde hair loose with a centre part.
Dark eyeliner and soft pink lipstick completed her look. Dave coordinated in a black leather jacket worn over a dark high-neck top and black trousers. Lace-up boots and wire-framed glasses finished his outfit, while his long hair fell loose over his shoulders.
Dave's statement about his marriage
The appearance follows a difficult chapter that became public in September 2024, when Dave announced on Instagram that he had become a father again.
In the statement, he explained that his youngest daughter had been born outside his marriage and said he intended to support her.

Dave and Jordyn married in August 2003 and share three daughters, Violet, Harper and Ophelia. Their wedding took place at their Los Angeles home, with guests including music executive Clive Davis and Dave's Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic.

The VMAs outing follows other joint appearances earlier this year. On January 31, Dave and Jordyn attended Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala in Los Angeles alongside their eldest daughter, Violet. Jordyn wore an emerald one-shoulder gown with a thigh-high split, while Dave chose a black suit and matching turtleneck.
The previous evening, the couple attended the MusiCares Person of the Year celebration honouring Mariah Carey, where Dave performed with Taylor Momsen.

The VMAs also marked a significant moment in Dave's musical career, with Nirvana named this year's Video Vanguard Award recipient.
The ceremony took place at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater on September 27, with Snoop Dogg hosting the celebration.
Dave joined fellow Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear at the event, bringing together the musicians for the band's honour.
