After a smooth sailing "Yacht Rock Night" that ended in the shocking boot of Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart, Dancing with the Stars returns to the ballroom in celebration of the eternal diva – Mariah Carey.
The competition returns to the ballroom on October 6 with "Mariah Carey Night," which will feature all remaining 12 couples performing to bops by the singer.
Read on below for all we know so far about the fourth week of season 35 of Dancing with the Stars, from song styles to dances and guest judges…
What is the theme of this week's DWTS episode?
For week four of the competition, the contestants will be indulging in a little taste of honey and channeling their inner Lambily to pay tribute to Mariah.
Former competitor Andy Richter revealed the official line-up for the coming week on the official Dancing with the Stars podcast, which will include some of Mariah's biggest hits and even a deep cut or two.
What songs and dance styles is DWTS doing for Mariah Carey Night?
While some of the singer's most pivotal hits may be missing ("We Belong Together?" "Always Be My Baby?" "Dreamlover?"), the line-up of dances and songs is quite stacked. Each couple will be performing one unlearned dance, and that includes…
- Conner Wood and Rylee Arnold: Rumba to "Touch My Body"
- Jackson Olson and Emma Slater: Waltz to "Without You"
- Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson: Samba to "Obsessed"
- Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson: Tango to "It's Like That"
- Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach: Rumba to "Anytime You Need a Friend"
- Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess: Foxtrot to "#Beautiful"
- Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas: Waltz to "If It's Over"
- Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong: Jazz to "Emotions"
- Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa: Viennese waltz to "Vision of Love"
- Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy: Rumba to "My All"
- Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik: Jazz to "Fantasy"
- Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov: Rumba to "Hero"
And expectations are already high for some of these dances, with some fans online clamoring for some true classics being cut from the list, while others expressed their excitement for more ballads and slower performances.
"Prepared for Amber and Pasha to make me cry," one wrote on the official DWTS Reddit page, with another adding: "Connor and Rylee will either be really good or really bad. They might get a perfect score, he might vomit on live tv. Total coin flip. I cannot wait!" and a third saying: "Weird theme but excited for Tatyana, Amber, Ezra, Harry, and Julia!"
Who is the DWTS guest judge for Mariah Carey Night?
No guest judge has been announced thus far, with regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough slated to return as always. It's unclear if Mariah herself will be in the ballroom as a judge, although she could send a video message.
Dancing with the Stars season 35 airs on Tuesday nights 8 PM ET/PT simultaneously on ABC and Disney+, and will stream on Hulu the next day.
