Jennifer Lopez caused quite the stir at Stella McCartney's Spring/Summer 2027 fashion show in Paris on Wednesday, after the event was hit with a bout of rain.
The 57-year-old looked incredible in a brown monochromatic look, featuring a skirt suit under a large faux-fur shawl, which she paired with a brown belt, pointed-toe heels, a large clutch and a delicate veil over her face.
Jennifer left her brown-blonde locks down in subtle waves, and wore bronzed makeup with a brown smoky eye and a dark lip.
When the entertainer arrived at the British Embassy in Paris for the fashion show, she waited until her security guard wiped her chair dry before sitting in the front row.
One of her team members sat behind her at the show and held a black umbrella over her head to keep the rain off, but security staff quickly confiscated the item, leaving her sitting in the drizzling rain.
Jennifer looked visibly annoyed after her umbrella was taken away, yet complied with the security team and waited for the show to start.
Fashion Week encounters
The "Get On the Floor" singer has been in the thick of it at Paris Fashion Week, particularly during her encounter with the overeager paparazzi on the Parisian streets.
While walking around the City of Love in a stunning white sundress, Jennifer grew overwhelmed with the paparazzi's intensity and confronted them directly. "Guys, can you stop acting crazy?" she said. "Relax. Nobody's running anywhere. We're not doing anything. You can take a quick breath."
Empty nester
Jennifer's trip to Paris comes mere weeks after she said goodbye to her 18-year-old twins, Max and Oskar, who moved out of home in September to start their college careers. The mom of two got candid about becoming an empty nester in a video shared to Instagram in late September, which saw the bare-faced beauty addressing her fans directly.
"When they go away, and I'm sitting here being an empty nester – crying, thinking about them, looking at baby pictures of them and all that stuff – these routines are the things that are going to keep me kind of sane," she said of her skincare routine.
"It's a scary time. It's a transitional time. It's a new beginning in a lot of ways for them, certainly, but also for you."
"You're so excited for them to step into this new era of their life, but we have to remember it's a new era of our lives too," she continued.
"Maybe it's time to revive some old dreams that you had, something you put aside during the time that you were raising your kids, or things you didn't have time for, even if it's just reading books…you start these new rituals and routines that can fill the space for when they go away, and they're not down the hall anymore."
She concluded: "Stay hydrated. Stay happy. Stay joyful. Stay productive…Beauty starts from the inside out."
