It is still 'Happy Days' for Anson Williams, who is refusing to let his age define him. 

The actor, famous for the role of Potsie on the TV sitcom alongside Ron Howard and Henry Winkler, stunned fans by showing off his shirtless physique in a selfie on Instagram after his 77th birthday.

Flexing his muscles in the mirror, the silver-haired star looked in fantastic shape as he delivered a powerful and inspiring message to his social media followers.

Healthier than ever

"My yearly reminder to every Boomer: NEVER let anyone diminish us because of our age," Anson wrote in the caption which accompanied the striking snapshot. "I'm 77. More creative, healthier, busier, more curious — and more alive than I was at 40."

Anson's recipe for ageless living

The cancer survivor opened up about what keeps him feeling so vibrant well into his seventies, and attributed his energy to healthy habits and happiness.

"A partner who sees the best in me. Good lovin'. Kindness. Adventure. A little discipline — eat right, move, take care of yourself," he added. "Mountains still worth climbing. And the absolute refusal to let anyone else decide my worth.

"We didn’t come this far to become invisible. We came this far to become unstoppable.

Fans immediately flooded the comments section with praise, and thanked the beloved TV veteran for promoting a positive outlook on growing older.

After hanging up Potsie's letterman jacket, Anson forged a long and successful career behind the camera. He transitioned into a successful television director and was at the helm of episodes of hit shows like Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Away from the entertainment industry, the multi-talented star has ventured into entrepreneurship and civic engagement. He's even run a high-profile campaign for mayor in his hometown of Ojai, California. 

Anson has been married to his third wife, Sharon MaHarry, since 2023. They tied the knot when he was 73 years old in the backyard of the Ojai home Sharon sold to him years earlier when they first met.
