New footage has emerged capturing Kelly Clarkson's viral shopping incident at Brooklyn's Art of Play. In a 4-minute, 50-second clip obtained by Pablo Torre, Kelly can be seen making her way through the shop.

A mechanical bird sculpture caught the singer's attention before she began to speak with one of the shop owners. The employer can then be seen pointing in a different direction as Kelly viewed another item in the store. Kelly then made her way to the front exit before turning around and gesturing towards the shop owner while two other shop employees looked on.

HELLO!'s News and Features Writer Tess Hill headed to the store following the incident to share an insight into the workings of the shop. "Art of Play was quite crowded! It is super small, literally just a room," she shared. "The guys working there seemed really nice and told me right when I walked in that I should feel welcome to 'play' with anything. The bird was there! It had a sticker on it that said 'do not touch' and didn't have a price tag on it."

Kelly Clarkson's 'Pretty Women' experience at New York store

Kelly alleged that she was made to feel as though she couldn't afford the merchandise in the shop. "Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy," Kelly shared on X on October 10.

The star claimed an employee had looked at her as though she couldn't afford the items she was interested in purchasing, before offering to find her something "comparable" instead. "Wow, dude. You're an idiot and just lost a huge sale," she said.

The Brooklyn shop challenged her account of the encounter, which she compared to Julia Roberts' famous shopping scene in Pretty Woman. According to the business, the bird is part of its magic performances rather than merchandise available for customers to purchase. "Molly is permanently attached to the wall and isn't for sale," the shop stated.

However, Kelly responded by claiming she had seen a price tag and been told it cost $15,000. She accused the person involved of being dishonest. "So you're not only rude, you're also a liar. Got it," she shared on Instagram.

The singer explained that she supports small businesses, but argued that this did not excuse the treatment she had experienced. "It's not that hard to be kind," she concluded.
