Elizabeth Holmes is the star of a brand new documentary. The 42-year-old, who is currently serving an 11 year prison sentence for wire fraud, is the subject of You Can See Everything, a documentary by comedian Nathan Fielder.
And while the Theranos founder is the center, her longtime partner Billy Evans, 34, is a bit of a star in the film too. The documentary follows the couple and their two children in the lead up to Elizabeth reporting to prison and reveals that while Elizabeth is incarcerated, Billy is managing her X account.

Elizabeth Holmes and Billy Evans got engaged in 2018
After being introduced by a mutual friend in 2017, the couple got engaged a year later. Elizabeth and Billy met after she was in the news for fraud.
"It had been two years of all this stuff written about me, and I think you get to know someone in a totally different way when you walk in with that skepticism versus if you meet when everything is sunshine and roses," she told The New York Times in 2023. "That allowed us to get to know each other in a really deep way."

Billy is the heir to a multimillion dollar company
Billy's grandparents are in the hospitality industry. The family opened a company – Evans Hotels – in 1953 that runs three luxury hotels in San Diego, which is worth some hundreds of millions. The company's properties sit on Mission Bay and in La Jolla in the Southern California city.

He went to MIT
While Elizabeth studied at Stanford University, Billy earned his Bachelor of Science in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2015. After graduating, he went on to work in tech.
Per his LinkedIn, Billy is the Chief Executive Officer at Haemanthus, a biotechnology research company.

Elizabeth and Billy share two children together
The couple welcomed their first child, son William Holmes Evans, on July 10, 2021. Elizabeth's pregnancy delayed her trial even more after several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A year and a half later, Elizabeth announced she was pregnant once again. During her controversial sentencing, the tech founder was visibly pregnant. Elizabeth gave birth to the couple's second child, daughter Invicta, in February 2023.
Just a few months later, Elizabeth reported to Federal Prison Camp in Texas. "I know how the optics look, but I always wanted to be a mother," she told People in February 2025. "I truly did not think I would ever be convicted or found guilty. I kept talking to my lawyers and they also assured me we would never get this far."

Billy has visited Elizabeth in prison
The 34-year-old is a single dad, but has visited his wife in prison several times, often bringing his children along with him. Billy first traveled to the prison in Texas in May 2023, just a few weeks after Elizabeth reported to prison.
"It's been hell and torture to be here," she told People, adding that it "shatters my world every single time [my family leaves]. The people I love the most have to walk away as I stand here, a prisoner, and my reality sinks in."
