Former White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia showcased her toned abs while out and about in California, just days after she was fired from her position by Donald Trump.
The California native stepped out in a blue sports bra and orange leggings as she soaked up the sun and went for a run following her dismissal. Katie paired the look with white crew socks and running shoes, and wore her blonde locks in a side plait.
Katie Zacharia's swift dismissal
The mother of four began her tenure as the White House Press Secretary on October 9, and after a disastrous first briefing in which she stumbled over her words and answered questions from only three conservative media outlets, Katie was fired on October 13.
She had previously worked as a conservative commentator and deputy assistant secretary for public affairs for the Department of Homeland Security, before replacing Karoline Leavitt in the press secretary role.
Katie came under fire not only for her nervous performance at the podium, but for her claims that she was a licensed attorney, even though she never passed the bar exam and instead moved to China after completing law school.
She broke her silence on her dismissal on October 17 via X, writing: "President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man. I wish more Americans appreciated him. No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to. It was an honor to work for him."

Katie Zacharia speaks out
Katie went into detail about her exit with The New York Post, sharing the lessons she had learned from her brief stint in the White House.
"Answering the president's call to serve was an honor, and my kids were able to see their mom step up for one of the most sought-after jobs in the world," she explained.
"I'm proud I said yes, stood firm in what I believe, and kept supporting the president even when the circumstances weren't ideal for me – showing my children what courage looks like in the face of criticism."
"The biggest lessons are to stay true to your character, focus on the work in front of you, and refuse to be defined by the critics."
Donald told reporters after her dismissal that he had encouraged her to rethink if the position was right for her and her family.
"I just asked her, 'Is this for you?'" he said. "And she's a nice person. I'm going to let her make that decision…I told her, 'Honestly, if I were you, I would reconsider.' Maybe it's not for her."
"I wasn't hiring her as a lawyer... She's been loyal to me from day one for a long time. But it's not an easy job," he added. Katie is the sixth press secretary to work for Donald, behind Sean Spicer, Stephanie Grisham, Kayleigh McEnany, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Karoline Leavitt.
Karoline stepped down from the position in August to "spend more time with her beautiful young children and family," as Donald declared. She gave birth to her second child in May.
