Jeremy Renner was joined by a very special guest as he stepped out at a film festival in Rome on Friday, October 23, 2026 – his rarely seen daughter Ava Berlin.
The Avengers star, 55, posed alongside his 13-year-old daughter at the 24th annual Alice nella Città Film Festival, marking one of their few public appearances together.
The father-daughter duo shared a sweet moment during a photocall at the Teatro Sistina, smiling at one another as Jeremy wrapped an affectionate arm around Ava's waist on the red carpet.

She completed her elegant look with delicate jewellery and nude strappy heels. Meanwhile, Jeremy looked dapper in a tailored navy three-piece suit, white shirt and black tie.
The rare outing came as the actor attended the festival to present his memoir, My Next Breath, which chronicles his remarkable recovery from a near-fatal snowplow accident in January 2023. He also received a special award from the festival's youth jury and took part in a masterclass.
The Mayor of Kingstown actor has made no secret of his devotion to his only child, who played an important role in his recovery after he was crushed by a 14,000-pound snowplow at his Nevada property on New Year's Day in 2023.

Speaking about the ordeal, the actor has credited Ava with giving him the motivation to fight his way back to health.
"Reason No. 1 for my recovery is her," he previously revealed, explaining that seeing his daughter become less afraid as his condition improved was an enormous source of motivation.

He explained that Ava had to help care for him during the early stages of his recovery, creating an unexpected reversal of their usual father-daughter roles.

Ava also played a special part in her father's memoir, contributing an essay to the book and recording her contribution for the audiobook edition.
