Jacyln Smith celebrated her 81st birthday on October 26.
In celebration, we're taking a walk down memory lane with one of the star's "big breaks" that she got before she landed her life-changing role in Charlie's Angels.
Fun fact: the actress used to do hair commercials before becoming a big-time star. Jaclyn previously shared a throwback of her commercial for the shampoo Gold Formula Breck from 1973.
In the commercial she shared: "There's something I want to tell you about shampoo. It might make no difference to you but it does to me," as she combed her hair with her hand.
The star added: "Every leading shampoo is mostly detergent, except one – Gold Formula Breck. Breck has far less detergent – far more natural ingredients. Breck gets off the dirt, but leaves the natural shine. I don't know about you, but I feel better just knowing about Gold Formula Breck."
She captioned the post: "One of my first big breaks! Do you remember these commercials?"
Fans flocked to the comments to cheer Jaclyn on, with one person writing: "I remember this. You look the same."
A second fan continued: "OMG...I was a little girl when this commercial was out. You're still so beautiful!"
A third follower wrote: "Oh yes I remember this commercial. You were beautiful then and you still are now. But who would've thought what the future would bring you. Charlie's Angels and a women's clothing designer for K-Mart, [and] a great acting career in television movies."
What is Jaclyn Smith's take on aging
The star may be in her 80s, however, she continues to maintain her youthful appearance. She shared her secrets with People, revealing: "[I prioritize] clean living, eating properly, getting the proper amount of sleep and a lot of vitamins."
The star has a refreshing take on aging, adding: "Let's face it, there are a lot of things out there you can do, but I don't like it when people don't look like themselves or they do too much."
She admitted: "Everybody ages, everybody changes. It's the real stuff that puts you on top. Pretty is as pretty does. No one stays a Charlie's Angel forever."
