Kelsey Grammer has been publicly slammed by his ex-wife, Camille Grammer, after she accused him of forgetting their daughter Mason's 25th birthday on October 24.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who was married to the Fraiser star from 1997 to 2010, wrote a lengthy post on Instagram, claiming Kelsey has pushed Mason "to the sidelines."

"A daughter should never have to wonder whether her father remembers her birthday. Three days later, and still not a call or a text," Camille began.

"You can be a beloved actor to the world, but being a father is a role that requires showing up when the cameras are off. Fame, accolades, and public admiration mean very little if you neglect the people who should matter most."

She continued: "Some wounds come not from what is said, but from the silence. A mother never stops hurting when her child is hurt.

"25 is a milestone birthday. Sometimes the silence is deafening, and the disappointment speaks volumes.

"Mason told me she kept checking her phone all weekend, hoping her father had called, even from an unfamiliar number or that his message had somehow ended up in her spam folder. She even checked there, searching for any sign that he had reached out."

Camille even seemingly took aim at Kelsey's wife, Kayte Walsh, whom he married in 2011, adding: "A stepmother should want to encourage a healthy, loving relationship between a father and his daughter.

"Sadly, from my perspective, that hasn't been Mason's experience. Instead, she has felt increasingly excluded from her father's life and home.

"No matter the adult relationships involved, a daughter deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and loved—not pushed to the sidelines. A 25th birthday should be a celebration of love, not another reminder of the distance between a father and his child," she concluded.

Camille and Kelsey have been on bad terms since their split after his affair with his now-wife, with the TV star previously claiming that he felt "no remorse" for being unfaithful.

"He sent me a text saying, 'I feel no remorse for what I am doing,'" she said on the Humble Bragg podcast in May.

"And that was very harsh because I was very much in love with him. And I believed he was very much in love with me. I mean, we did have many good years in our marriage, and a lot of fun times."

Kelsey is a father to eight children. Alongside Mason, he shares son Jude, 22, with Camille. He is also a dad to daughter Spencer, 43, with ex-wife Doreen Alderman; daughter Greer, 34, with ex-girlfriend Barrie Buckner; and he shares four kids, Faith, 14, Kelsey, 12, Auden, nine, and Christopher, 12 months, with Kayte.

The Emmy-winning actor has been famously candid about how his parenting style has changed over the years. He previously reflected on his younger years, which he spent building a Hollywood career.

Kelsey has acknowledged that he wasn't always as present for his eldest children as he wished he had been, but in September, he claimed that now that he's in his seventies, he's "a far more available dad."
