Barbra Streisand's looks over the years
In 1962, Barbra made her Broadway debut as Miss Marmelstein in a production of I Can Get It for You Wholesale. She wore her hair in both a short, brown bob or a voluminous bouffant. The Broadway production cast a then 19-year-old Barbra in her first pivotal role opposite none other than Elliott Gould, who played Harry Bogen.
The two went on to date and then secretly tied the knot in September 1963 and welcomed a son in 1966 named Jason. In 1969, the couple separated, and they were divorced two years later.
By the '70s, Barbra was a mom, an EGOT winner, and a fashion icon. Her style evolved into more of a bohemian look – long hair and thrifted clothes. A few years into the decade, Barbra popularized the perm and even wore it for her musical drama A Star is Born with Kris Kristofferson.
