Artem Chigvintsev is one doting dad! The former Strictly star took to Instagram this week to share a brand new snapshot of his baby son, Matteo – and the resemblance between the pair is striking.

The image shows Artem, 38, crouching down next to his little boy, who is sat up in his buggy and looking up at the camera. "My favourite Teo and Dada's day #fatherandson missing mommy," Artem captioned his post.

Little Matteo is Artem's first child with his fiancée, former WWE wrestler Nikki Bella, 37. The couple started dating after being partnered up on Dancing with the Stars in 2017. They announced the happy news of her pregnancy in January 2020 – on the same day that her twin sister Brie revealed she was expecting her second baby.

Artem proudly shared the news of his son's arrival on 31 July. He shared a snapshot showing him planting a doting kiss on the newborn's head, and wrote: "Father and son, @thenikkibella we did good."

The star was flooded with messages – including one from his ex-girlfriend and former Strictly dance partner Kara Tointon, who wrote: "Oh Artem, he's beautiful!!! Look at that hair!!!" Fellow pro dancer Robin Windsor added: "Just amazing!!!!! - Congratulations dad." Nikki even joked: "That smile with Daddy!!!"

A short time after Matteo's birth, proud new dad Artem appeared on Good Morning America to speak about his little boy and confirm his return to Dancing with the Stars.

"I just can't wait to get back… I want to dedicate this season to my little boy," he said. Asked about his experience of fatherhood so far, Artem shared: "It has been the most incredible feeling I just didn't know that I would have so much love to give. It's just incredible."
But Artem confessed that his baby son "literally owns" his mum and dad. He added: "He's been waking up every hour and a half and I really feel bad for Nikki because he's a really good eater, so he's been on it!"
