Whitney Houston silences her doubters with spot-on Italian 'X Factor' performance
Those wondering if she can really pull off her comeback only had to watch. And this time her dress stayed in place too
The pressure was on, but Whitney Houston nailed it.
After her wardrobe malfunction on the X Factor at the weekend, and with music critics still wondering if she can really pull off her comeback, her performance on the Italian version of the TV star search was a pivotal one.
Lucky then that she rose to the challenge – delivering a show-stopping live rendition of her track Million Dollar Bill.
The 46-year-old diva had the audience up and on their feet, clapping along as she belted out the track.
And there was no repeat of last week's strap-snapping episode - her elegant white Dolce & Gabbana gown stayed perfectly in place.
Whitney is on course for a top five hit with her new single, which is vying for success in the charts against Cheryl Cole's effort Fight For This Love.
The American diva's track Million Dollar Bill will be her first top five single since My Love Is Your Love in July 1999. She also has one of the week's biggest-selling albums with I Look To You.

Wow! She sounds and looks great! I enjoyed seeing this. I am believing that with every performance she is getting stronger and better.
I took a chance and got her cd and honestly it is one of the best ones out. It is sooooo honest and real- I seriously don't skip a track. I love I didn't know my own strenght, I look to you but I really enjoy Worth it and For the Lovers. Don't sleep on this cd.
Whitney keep working at it and bring this performance back to the states. You SLAYED it.
Regarding the UK performance, I saw that, she was fine and she still is 'The Voice'. All live vocals.

she used to have amazing breath control but it sounded like the song was too fast for her and she was struggling to pace her breathing properly whilst singing. Hopefully this will come back with time

She sounded amazing and strong. Glad to see and hear her getting stronger. I have her cd and I can honestly say it is on of the best cds out this year, so honest and real. I love I didn't know my own strength, I look to you, Worth it and For the lovers (great song to ride out to). She sounds sad on 'A song for you' but that is what makes it so appealing.
Performance on point, keep doing the damn thing Whitney now come back to the States and do that here.
