The This Morning presenter shared some wedding guest fashion wisdom

Holly Willoughby often shares fashion inspiration with her fans – and with wedding season approaching, she and her stylist Danielle Whiteman have obliged with some tips for dressing for spring and summer ceremonies.

In one of her latest Wylde Moon articles, Danielle shares her favourite wedding outfits for 2023 – and Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin take starring place in a feature photo for the blog post, which shows the This Morning presenter wearing a beautiful pastel dress with white florals, teamed with black accessories.

While the picture could have easily been mistaken for being recent, it actually dates back to 2017, and Holly and Dan weren't attending a wedding – they were headed to Royal Ascot! At the time, Holly wowed in her Finery dress and Topshop heels, which are now unfortunately unavailable to buy, though they still serve as great inspiration for formal wedding guest outfit ideas.

The star's statement headpiece is by none other than royal favourite hat designer Philip Treacy, while her half moon clutch bag is from Radley. The style is currently sold out, but you can purchase a similar version from Whistles for £45.

As for stylist Danielle's advice when it comes to wedding guest dressing, she advises always considering the weather, location and if there's a dress code – and importantly, trying to opt for something sustainable.

"When shopping for a wedding outfit, the key is to shop smarter and buy something that isn’t single wear. You could consider renting your whole look. This is a great sustainable option which will give you the opportunity to be more adventurous without breaking the bank," she writes.

She adds: "You also want to make sure you’re comfortable. Weddings can be a long, drawn out affair and you need to make sure that whatever you chose is going to feel as good at midnight as it did at midday!"
