Denise Welch was a proud mother as she watched her son Matty Healy, 37, marry American model Gabbriette, 28, whose real name is Gabriella Bechtel, in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The 1975 frontman kept his wedding largely under wraps, but Denise took to Instagram to share that it was "the happiest time of my life" as she showed off her mother-of-the-groom dress. Showing off her toned physique, the 68-year-old posed in a dusky pink Solace London column dress that skimmed her figure, with statement off-the-shoulder sleeves that wouldn't look out of place on the red carpet.
A Chanel cross-body bag and Jimmy Choo heels completed her ensemble, while silver and pearl jewellery from Lucy Quartermaine offset her golden tan. For her beauty look, Denise sported a vampy dark red manicure and opted for smoky eyes to amp up the glamour.
Her fellow Loose Women panellists rushed to the comments section to shower her with compliments, with Frankie Bridge writing: "Obsessed," and Ruth Langsford adding: "Absolutely STUNNING!"

Denise was joined by a host of famous guests, including Charli XCX, Nick Grimshaw and Sally Dynevor, at the ceremony at Castillo del Lago, a Spanish Colonial Revival Mansion that was previously home to Madonna.
Paying tribute to her new in-laws, Denise wrote next to a carousel of Instagram photos: "To see my eldest son marry the most beautiful, funny, crazy girl under the Hollywood sign was a night I'll never forget. They are made for each other.
"I kept looking around and couldn't believe so many of our friends and family were all together in Los Angeles celebrating this most magical, beautiful few days watching the love between Matthew and @gabbriette.
"We love our daughter-in-law and our new family @chayobechtel @gary.bechtel and @marsalsa_. I'll need to do a million reels to capture the fun we all had."
Keeping their high-profile romance under wraps
Matty and Gabbriette were first linked in September 2023, shortly after he ended his relationship with Taylor Swift. It is thought that they were introduced through mutual friends, since Gabbriette's Nasty Cherry bandmate Charli XCX ismarried to The 1975 drummer George Daniel.
Despite both being in the public eye, they have kept their relationship away from the spotlight. Gabbriette sparked engagement rumours after she was spotted wearing a large black ring in June 2024.
