The Duchess of Sussex has been sharing more insights into her home life in America with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie and Lilibet, through her brand As Ever and her Netflix series.
Alongside occasional glimpses of her home decor, this has invited fans inside her off-duty wardrobe, from tailored shirts to summer dresses. Two items we never expected her to dig out of her closet were her wedding dresses from her 2018 nuptials, which are traditionally kept for one-time use.
Taking style cues from Queen Camilla, who famously broke tradition by wearing her wedding outfit again in June 2007, the 44-year-old recently swapped her laid-back jeans for what appears to be her backless Stella McCartney bridal gown.
In the latest Instagram post, As Ever shared footage of Meghan looking ethereal in the ivory gown as she read her book and used her homemade jam for an afternoon tea, alongside the caption: "Welcome to the World of As Ever.
"What began with fruit from Meghan’s garden, simmered into preserves in her home kitchen, has inspired our curated collections to bring surprise and delight to your everyday."
The halterneck silhouette led to an open back and hugged her frame as it flowed into a floor-length skirt, which she dressed down with bare feet and an oversized cream blazer. The former Suits actress once again styled her long hair into a chic low bun, drawing parallels to her wedding day.
This is not the first time she has copied her bridal look; for the 2024 ESPY Awards, she wore another halterneck bridal white Staud gown.
Royal wedding memories
On 19 May, Meghan and Harry will be celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary, where they can reminisce about walking down the aisle at St George's Chapel in front of 600 guests, including Idris Elba and George Clooney.
They were serenaded by Karen and the Kingdom Choir, who made 12 versions of the song 'Stand By Me' before performing the final rendition, which the royal couple had not heard in advance.
"The day of the wedding, I knew they were going to hear the 12th version, which was our most stripped back yet," Karen exclusively told HELLO!.
"They hadn’t had time to hear it before because the 11th version needed tweaking so this was going to be it. None of us were nervous on the day about performing but I was nervous as to whether this would be exactly what they wanted. It felt incredible on the day."
Bridal gowns
The royal bride looked radiant in her bespoke bateau-neck gown by Givenchy's Clare Waight Keller, which reflected Meghan's "effortless American style." The designer described it as: "Not overly feminine, but not really minimal either."
She teamed it with the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau tiara, loaned by the late Queen Elizabeth II, and an intricate five-metre-long silk tulle veil with hand-embroidered flowers, which took 3,900 hours to create.
For their evening reception, the newlyweds travelled to Frogmore House, where Meghan was pictured in her second bridal look, alongside Aquazzurra shoes with blue soles and the late Princess Diana's aquamarine ring. Meanwhile, Prince Harry cut a dashing figure in a tuxedo, after changing out of his Blues and Royals uniform.
