Jane Seymour is engaged at the age of 75 - and has declared her fiancé John Zambetti "the one" in an exclusive interview with HELLO!
The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman actress met her musician and emergency room physician beau John almost three years ago, and says that her family and friends remark that she is "the happiest they’ve ever seen me in my life. His friends say the same about him".
John, 77, dropped to one knee on Valentine's Day 2026 with a stunning vintage Toi et Moi style ring, featuring two floral-shaped diamond clusters in yellow gold.
'He's the one'
The actress, who has been married and divorced four times, lives with her fiance in her beachside home in Malibu, and the pair receive regular visits from their blended family.
They were introduced by their children – Jane has six, including stepchildren, Kalen, 48, Jenni, 45, Katherine, 43, Sean, 40, and twins John and Kristopher, 29, while John, who was previously married for 43 years, has a son, Johnny, 38 and a daughter, Kathryn.
"Our kids pretty much put us together," Jane says. "They’re the ones that heard that he’d seen me and asked whether I was single or not."
Red roses
John celebrates their anniversary every month with red roses, no matter where Jane is. “If he can’t get fresh roses, he’ll go online and find fake ones,” she says. “There is always a red rose of some sort that arrives on the fourth.”
"I honestly never thought I would find a really committed, healthy, lovely, loving relationship at this time of my life, but I’m incredibly blessed that I have," Jane previously shared with HELLO!, admitting she considered herself lucky to have met John when she did.
"You’ve had a life. Many lives. And children, and grandchildren, and careers, and ups and downs. You know what you want. I consider both of us so fortunate to have found each other at the time we have, because it wouldn’t have ever worked earlier. He had a different life – his world was medicine and touring, and mine was running around the world making movies. I think we met each other at exactly the right time."
Opposites attract
"We’re very different, but together we are living our best lives by supporting one another in what we can do now," Jane said.
"There’s nothing nicer than the fact he’s writing beautiful music, and we share that, and I watch him gig, and sometimes I’ll do a little background vocal. And he loves being with me when I’m working – he was in the background on a couple of episodes of Harry Wild."
Secret to youth
As well as finding love, Jane has also recently won over a new generation of fans on TikTok, where she regularly registers more than two million likes for her videos.
While John also has a presence on the social media platform, his future bride says they like to keep their accounts separate, sharing with HELLO! that "the important thing is we do life together".
