Eight years after ending her engagement with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Dara Huang has hinted she has secretly got engaged and married.

Fuelling speculation about her private marriage, the American architect, 43, shared a photo of herself holding hands with a mystery partner in the car, with two rings on her wedding finger.

She appears to have a wedding band nestled next to a large diamond engagement ring, which experts have estimated cost around £150k.

Dara Huang's 'clean girl' engagement ring

Jessica Flinn-Allen, founder of Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery with over 13 years' experience in jewellery, exclusively told HELLO!: "Dara Huang's stunning oval cut diamond engagement ring is a timeless classic, in a four claw solitaire setting with a polished band.

"Ovals have been trending since 2025 and show no signs of stopping! Her diamond looks to be approximately 7cts, with a natural diamond of this size in a solitaire setting being valued at around £150,000."

She added that the style reflects her "clean girl" aesthetic that bleeds from her architectural work into her fashion and jewellery choices.

"Paired with a traditional domed profile band, her stack is elegant, timeless, and matches her 'clean girl' aesthetic perfectly. Her engagement and wedding ring pairing also perfectly aligns with the design aesthetic of her furniture brand Dara Maison - clean lines, subtle curves and no fuss," Jessica explained.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's ex hints at life change

Dara, who shares a ten-year-old son named Christopher Woolf with Princess Beatrice's husband, captioned the photo: "Kinda chic to still believe in love."

She elaborated in the caption: "It’s kinda chic to not be afraid. Be your own destiny and start over any time! I became a single mom at 37 and I started my second company at 40, and I’ve just started working on my biggest challenge. So chase your dreams, do your best every day, love like there’s no tomorrow and don’t think life is over when it’s only just begun."

The Dara Maison founder has praised her co-parenting relationship with Edo and Princess Beatrice

Dara and Edoardo dated between 2015 and 2018, and Edoardo went on to marry Princess Beatrice in 2020 and welcome two daughters. The architect and the property developer have never commented on the reason for their split, but Dara described it as "difficult" in a very rare confession as she celebrated her partnership with Stuart Weitzman.

"Then came a difficult breakup… the moment I finally claimed the pay rise I'd long deserved… also finally seeing some payoff for my growing business. I was a single mum with a baby, so nearly everything still went to my son—but finally, there was a bit of space for me too. That's when I bought my very first pair of Stuart Weitzman boots."

Despite their breakup, Dara has nothing but positive words to say about her ex and his new wife, praising their co-parenting relationship with Wolfie. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she said: "I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him – because it didn’t have to be so easy."
