Among them were Jesse's pregnant girlfriend, Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton, Stereophonics singer Kelly Jones and girlfriend Jaqqi, Kenny Jones of The Faces and his wife Jayne.
Best men Rod Stewart and Sir Paul McCartney attended with their glam other halves Penny Lancaster and Nancy Shevell.
The friend adds: "After a beatific service with three readings, Ronnie, supported by his two best men – who both gave speeches alongside Sally's dad and Ronnie himself – the happy couple joined their guests in a glorious celebration with tea and cakes."
The bride was resplendent in her mother's wedding dress created over 40 years ago and bought back to life by Tommy Hilfiger. After walking the aisle hand-in-hand they later departed the hotel together at 8.30pm.
Sally, 34 changed into a pink dress with tailored coat by Ted Baker while Ronnie's two suits, his ceremony attire and after suits, were both handcrafted by Jonathan Saunders.
Once outside the hotel the newlyweds stopped to share their first kiss as man and wife. The new Mr and Mrs Wood were then joined by Rod and Penny for dinner at the Ritz.
