The romantic moment that Kanye West went down on one knee to propose to Kim Kardashian has been caught on camera.
A behind-the-scenes video of the couple's magical night has emerged, demonstrating just how much planning Kanye put into the elaborate birthday proposal, which featured fireworks, an orchestra and a jumbotron.
Shot by YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, the clip shows Kanye popping the question in the middle of the AT&T Park in San Francisco. Visibly shocked Kim can be seen putting both hands up to her face when Kanye goes down on one knee to present her with a beautiful 15-carat diamond ring.
After she says 'yes', the couple embrace as Kim’s family and friends - secretly flown out by Kanye - emerge from the dugouts to congratulate the happy couple.
The footage then cuts to a close up shot of the orchestra, which all the while had been playing Lana del Rey's track Young and Beautiful, before panning to the scoreboard illuminated with the message, "Please marry meeee".
Kim and Kanye – parents to four-month-old North – are already said to be planning their wedding, which is "going to be huge", according to E! News.
In an interview with NOW radio just hours before his proposal on Monday night, Kanye spoke lovingly about his future wife.
"She's the love of my life. She gave me a beautiful daughter," he said. "She has a beautiful amazing family that is now my family."
He also said that Kim is someone he can rely on. "Just the stability in this astronaut ride of life, particularly of fame, to have someone who understands, who's that sweet, who doesn't want me for my money," he said, adding, "She looks pretty good, too."
