The new X Factor judging panel have clearly hit it off. On Thursday, Rita Ora shared the first selfie of the judges all together on her Instagram page. The fun photo shows Rita beaming alongside Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nick Grimshaw and Simon Cowell – and she couldn't help but poke fun at the head judge, who seems a little less camera-ready.In a caption posted alongside the picture, which was taken during auditions at Wembley Arena, the 24-year-old pop star wrote: "This is by far the best Simon Cowell photograph of all time. Gotta love him. Great auditions today London! See you tomorrow! @cherylofficial @nicholasgrimshaw."

Cheryl, 32, then reposted the image on her own Instagram page, gleefully writing: "I am crying."It is the first behind-the-scenes style photo of the four judges, and will no doubt help build up excitement ahead of the start of series 12.Simon has previously admitted he has a feeling he might be "in for a bit of a rough time" this year. Confirming the new judging line-up on his Twitter account in June, the 55-year-old wrote: "The combination of Nick, Cheryl and Rita is going to be a lot of fun. They all bring a lot of enthusiasm and passion for music to the show. "I have a feeling I am in for a bit of a rough time but sometimes you have to embrace the craziness and now, with luck, we hope to find a star."

The new panel made their debut at X Factor auditions in Manchester last week, and on Thursday continued with the first round in London. Filming initially had to be postponed for a couple of days following the sad death of Simon's beloved mother Julie.A source at the time told the Mirror: "Simon needs time to get over the death of Julie, it is a huge loss for him and his family. But at the same time, he knows how many people are involved in The X Factor and doesn't like to let people down."Julie was a big fan of the show, so it feels right to take some time out and then come back and work on the show later in the week."
