Rita Ora's London home broken into

Rita Ora’s six bedroom semi-detached house in North London has been burgled. It has been reported that the thieves took jewellery, cash and electrical goods from the X Factor judge’s house.

The robbery was believed to have taken place on November 28, a week before fellow X Factor colleague Simon Cowell’s house was burgled. Less than three miles away from Rita’s home Simon’s £10million property was broken into by thieves on December 4. The burglars made away with more than £500,000 worth of valuables.

The police are now investigating the possibility that both of these break-ins were co-ordinated by the same gang, as well as six other robberies in the area. Speaking out about the incident in the Daily Mirror, media mogul Simon said that he believes whoever broke into his property had "insider knowledge" of the property and knew which rooms to avoid. "He got up to the first floor and there were two doors, one to my bedroom and one to my bathroom, which leads to a dressing room where the safe was."

"So he could have walked into my bedroom. Instead, he chose the other so he went through the bathroom," he said. This incident has obviously left the father-of-one shaken and despite his tough man exterior he did admit that it "creeps" him out knowing that someone was just "three feet away" from him while he was sleeping.

The timing of these break-ins is not great for neither Simon nor Rita with the X Factor final tonight. Rita is hoping that her act Louisa Johnson can clinch the win and give the Hot Right Now singer a win in her first year on the show.
