Table for three? Taylor Swift's romantic date night with boyfriend Calvin Harris didn't end up quite as they expected on Tuesday night after a cheeky fan interrupted their meal. The couple had just ordered their first drinks when they were approached by fan Ricky Selby, who shared an amusing photo from their meeting on Instagram.

The image shows Ricky studying a menu as he sits at the table with Taylor and Calvin, who both smile for the camera.

"Awesome dinner with mom and dad," he captioned the image, which quickly attracted attention from the Bad Blood singer's fans.

"You are so lucky to have met them both," commented one fan, while another added: "You ruined their romantic dinner my boy!"

Ricky met the couple at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica on Tuesday, and while he failed to give away any further details about his celebrity encounter, he did tell one fan: "She is sooo nice."

The couple have been dating since March 2015

The couple's romantic date night comes just a few weeks after they celebrated Christmas and New Year together, with Taylor spotted watching on proudly as her boyfriend performed his New Year's Eve DJ set at Las Vegas nightclub Omnia.

While their relationship is still going strong, the pair recently spoke out to deny reports that Taylor had moved into Calvin's Beverly Hills home. "They are absolutely not living together," a representative for the singer revealed.

The denial came after reports suggested that Taylor and Calvin had been talking about their future together now that her 1989 World Tour had come to an end.

"Making it work, despite their demanding schedules, and her tour, has proved to both of them that this is something that is serious and could last," a source told E! News. "It's really cemented their commitment to one another. They are definitely talking about the future together and the possibility of one day getting engaged."
