Johnny, meanwhile, is currently in the midst of promoting his new film, Alice Through The Looking Glass, which is due to be released on Friday. He has been seen without his wedding ring while on the promotional circuit, and has reportedly hired celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has represented the likes of Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Ryan Reynolds in the past.
The couple tied the knot in February 2015
The last time that Johnny and Amber were seen together publicly was when they made an apology video for smuggling their dogs into Australia.
The couple, who met on the set of the 2012 movie Rum Diaries, were married on Johnny's private island Little Hall's Pond Cay in the Bahamas in February last year, in front of just 24 guests. It is thought that they were legally married in LA a short time before so that his ailing mother could attend.
Johnny was previously married to Lori Anne Allison for two years. He was later in a long-term partnership with Vanessa Paradis for 14 years before they split in 2012. They have two children together, Lily-Rose and Jack.
