It's been five years since Craig Colton – 'the singing biscuit factory worker' – first appeared on The X Factor. In that time, the 27-year-old has undergone a dramatic transformation. Craig now rocks a stylish beard and a slick new hair do, and it's clear he has lost a great deal of weight since his 2011 appearance.
Craig managed to lose a stone while on The X Factor after being put on a strict health regime by his mentor Gary Barlow – and he kept it up even after the programme ended. In 2012, Craig revealed to Now magazine that he had lost even more weight through healthy eating.

"I've got so much more confidence now," he said. "I've lost almost four stone and I'm doing it slowly. I don't want to lose a stone a week or anything like that. I'm still enjoying myself – hashtag cocktails."

Craig finished fifth in the eighth series of the show – which was ultimately won by Little Mix – but he has continued writing and performing music, which he shares with fans via his YouTube channel.
He has also recently set up home with his partner Shane, and has been sharing some very sweet photos of the loved-up couple together on Instagram.
Ray Quinn caused a stir on social media when he unveiled his new physique
Craig isn't the only X Factor star to have undergone some big changes since the show. In 2015, Ray Quinn showed off his dramatic physical transformation, following his split from wife Emma Stephens.
The 27-year-old star took to Twitter in November to share photos of his new physique – and it caused quite a stir on social media.
He later explained to the Liverpool Echo: "It's been a tough year for me, as you know, and this was a way of focusing my mind on something positive."
