It's been three weeks since Mick Jagger and his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick welcomed their first child together. And the new mother's wasting no time getting back to her pre-pregnancy size as she gave the latest weight-loss craze a try - Cryotherapy. Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, the ballerina shared a picture of herself in a chamber exposed to nitrogen, where temperatures reach as low as -140 degrees Celsius.

Melanie, 29, told her followers: "Day one of my journey to getting the Ballet Body back! Thanks @kryolife for the Icy start!" The popular device, which blasts cold air from head to toe, is believed to burn around 800 calories in three minutes and speed up metabolism as well as help relive muscle pain and arthritis.

Earlier this month, the professional dancer welcomed her little boy, Deveraux Jagger, the eighth child of the Rolling Stones frontman. At the time, a spokesperson for the couple told HELLO! Magazine: "Melanie Hamrick & Mick Jagger's son was born today in New York and they are both delighted. Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time."

This new addition is the 73-year-old musician's first baby with Melanie. Sir Mick is already a father to Karis Hunt Jagger, 45, from his relationship with Marsha Hunt and Jade Jagger, 44, with his ex-wife Bianca. The rock star had four children with his ex-partner Jerry Hall – Elizabeth, 32, James, 30, Georgia, 24, and 19-year-old Gabriel. He also has a son Lucas, 17, following a brief romance with Luciana Gimenez; their liaison ended Mick's 22-year relationship with Jerry, who is now married to Rupert Murdoch.
