Mick Jagger, 82, and his fiancée Melanie Hamrick, 38, rarely appear in public together, but when they do, they go all out. The very private couple cosied up on Wednesday evening for an ultra-rare date night at the star-studded V&A Summer Party 10th Anniversary event in London in their most glamorous attire.

Melanie's silky slip was the dress of dreams with a flattering figure-hugging fit and midi length. The choreographer and retired ballet dancer stunned in the strapless dress, which gathered at the waist and plunged in a structured V-neckline with a subtle reflective sheen to the fabric.

Melanie's dress appeared to be the 'Saucy Minx Dress' in smoke pink by Australian designer Toni Maticevski, which retails for £2,445. She paired her look with dangle earrings and a pair of chocolate brown pointed-toe heels while leaving her dark tresses styled out in subtle waves for the night.

Rock legend Mick has his arm around his partner's waist as they posed for couple pictures at the event in South Kensington. The Rolling Stones frontman looked every inch the rock star in a black leather jacket over a tricolour print shirt and belted pants.

The couple, who have been together since 2014 and share a nine-year-old son named Deveraux, mingled with other guests at the event, which included Irish singer-songwriter Bob Geldof and Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath.

The couple posed in the middle of a group photo with Bob, best known as the frontman of '70s group Boomtown Rats, who looked stylish in a green jacket and sunglasses. They also smiled for a photo alongside the Marchioness of Bath, who wowed in a strapless little black dress for the night.

Other stars on the guest list included Love Island host Maya Jama, singer Ellie Goulding, Lady Amelia Windsor and former H! Fashion cover star  and daughter of Oasis musician Noel Gallagher, Anais Gallagher.

Another glamorous outing

Last month, Mick and Melanie stepped out for a rare joint red carpet appearance at the New York City Ballet Spring Gala in New York on 7 May – and Melanie's strapless silver dress truly stole the show.

The pair looked loved-up in photos together from the evening, with Melanie stunning in a shimmering gown while Mick looked effortlessly cool in a sharp black suit, paired with a navy shirt and his signature dark sunglasses.

While the pair are typically tight-lipped about their private lives, Melanie opened up to HELLO! in 2024 about their son's musical talent. "When my son was little, we would do the hokey cokey occasionally but now he will be like, 'Mom it's not cool'. How is he a teenager already?" she said.

"I can't wait to see what he does. But I don't want to put pressure on him as between Mick and I, that's a lot of pressure," she added.

"When I hear him sing in school shows I say things like 'Oh my God, his singing voice was amazing, did everyone hear that?' And then I think 'Melanie let him be a kid! Don't be a stage parent!"
