Katy Perry surprised her fans by bringing out a special guest during her Las Vegas residency. It was none other than Kim Kardashian's daughter, North West!

Kim shared clips on her Instagram Story of 9-year-old North joining Katy and a group of friends onstage during the singer's PLAY residency.

Katy, 38, started the performance by telling North that she's a big fan of her TikTok videos and asking her to show off her dance moves.

North requested to bring her friends on stage with her, and Katy happily obliged. The group of four then performed cartwheels and other dance moves alongside Perry's dancers.

Kim also shared videos from the night, jamming out to Teenage Dream and Wide Awake, and posing for a shot next to Katy, Sia, and her longtime pal, Paris Hilton.

Kim gushed about Perry's performance backstage, telling the singer: "Honestly, I'm the biggest Katy Perry fan. I'm not just saying that because you're here."

For fans who can't make it to Katy's Las Vegas residency, the star hinted that she may take the show on the road in the future.

She joked: "I wish I could bring it to the rest of the world, but it's just not technically possible to cart around OTT toilets and bathtubs."

Katy's PLAY residency at Resorts World Las Vegas has been a huge hit with fans and fellow celebrities.

The star revealed in a recent interview with Out that she's: "due to go out and see those who couldn't make it to Vegas."

Explained Katy: "I'm just so proud of the show that we created and put on. It is such a spectacular show that we love so much. It's almost like the greatest hits show! I call it all thriller, no filler.

“Closing a chapter on PLAY allows me to start a new chapter. I'm so excited for the potential of my story to continue."

Katy joins Take That and her American Idol panelist Lionel Richie on the bill for the show to be held in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday May 7 alongside opera stars Andrea Bocelli and Sir Bryn Terfel and singer/songwriter Freya Ridings.

Alongside other names which will be announced in due course, the musicians will perform in front of an audience of 20,000 on the East Lawn of the castle at the celebratory show, which will be broadcast live on the BBC and takes place the day after the King and Queen Consort's coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

Katy, who is engaged to British actor Orlando Bloom and welcomed daughter Daisy with the star, has established herself as a supporter of Charles's favorite causes; in 2020 she was appointed ambassador of The British Asian Trust, a charity founded by the then-Prince of Wales.

The singer said: "I am excited to be performing at the Coronation Concert, and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust's Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking."

British band Take That's appearance on the bill continues a warm relationship the band has established with the royal family. Supporters of The Prince's Trust, they have regularly appeared at the Royal Variety Performance, while frontman Gary Barlow curated 2012’s Diamond Jubilee concert for the late Queen at Buckingham Palace.
