After months of speculation, Tom Holland, 30, finally confirmed this week that he secretly married his long-time partner and Spider-Man co-star Zendaya, 29.
The newlyweds, who first met on set in 2016, are one of Hollywood's most notoriously private couples, with just a handful of joint red carpet appearances over the past decade. While the details of their love story and recent wedding have been largely kept under wraps, Tom once offered a rare comment about his future family plans.
The star, best known for playing Spider-Man in the Marvel cinematic universe, previously admitted that when he does have children, his family life will come before his Hollywood career. "When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore," he told Men's Health last year.
"Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth," he added.

After going public with their relationship in 2021, Zendaya sparked engagement rumours with Tom in January 2025 when she was spotted with a sparkler on her ring finger while attending the star-studded Golden Globes.
Earlier this year, Zendaya's long-time stylist, Law Roach, surprised fans when he claimed in March that "the wedding has already happened."
"You missed it," Law told Access Hollywood at the 2026 Actors Awards. After the reporter asked: "Is that true?" Law responded, with a laugh: "It's very true."
Three months later, Tom seemed to confirm the news himself in a June interview with Esquire when he addressed the viral AI photos of him popping Moët with his new bride on Lake Como. After recalling his grandmother saw the pictures and thought she hadn't been invited to the wedding, Tom was questioned if he was forced to send out similar messages to other members of his family.
"No, because they were all there," he said. "That's all you'll get on that," he added, appearing to confirm the wedding had already happened.

The low-profile pair looked looked-up as they posed for pictures just the two of them. Zendaya stunned in a little black dress courtesy of English fashion designer Christian Cowan. The strapless mini dress featured a fringe hem and bow at the hip. The actress paired her ensemble with black pointed-toe stilettos and sparkling dangle earrings.
Zendaya's chin-length hair was slicked back in a 'wet' look for the occasion. Meanwhile, Tom looked dapper in a black suit with a Spider-Man red shirt beneath.
Two days later, the couple continued their press tour with a stop in Amsterdam for a second photo call. Zendaya has been known to love a method dressing moment on a promotional press tour, and her latest look did not disappoint. The actress opted for a look in the signature Spider-Man black and red colours while Tom posed next to her in a dark suit.
