Baywatch star Pamela Anderson isn't always perfectly coiffed and ready for her spotlight. In fact, the actress is just your regular mom as far as schooling goes.

While both of her boys, Brandon and Dylan, have been enrolled in boarding school to protect their privacy, they have also both attended a Malibu state school in the past, complete with a disguised security guard cast as a PE teacher.

Paul McCartney didn't want his children growing up with a warped view of the world

Keeping grounded when your father made up a quarter of the world's biggest pop sensation is a tough ask. But Paul McCartney did his bit to ensure a large inheritance and privileged life wouldn't create a bubble of upper-class bias around his children.

Sending his children to local East Sussex state schools like Bexhill College meant the kids regularly interacted with 'regular' people rather than just the offspiring of A-list elite.

Comedian Arabella Weir opted for a state school education, with children Isabella and Archie being sent to Highgate wood school in north London.

But this doesn't mean she's left her star-studde droots totally behind, and schools are keen to make the most of these connections. While her kids were at Ashmount primary, she called on David Tennant to make an appearance at the fundraising fete, for his godchildren's sake of course.
