England celebrated a 2-0 victory on Saturday against Panama, and the Three Lions were pictured joining their family members in the stands after the win.
Declan Rice, the superstar midfielder, was seen alongside his long-term partner, Lauren Fryer, at the New York New Jersey Stadium. Lauren, 27, looked stunning, rocking a red England shirt with her long blonde hair fanned elegantly over her shoulders. She sported subtle makeup which highlighted her striking features.
Although Lauren has been in the USA since the tournament began on June 11, she hasn't been pictured many times in the spectator stands so far. This could be due to the fact that she is notoriously private and keeps herself away from the public eye.
Lauren's private pact
In 2024, Lauren was the victim of trolling after candid holiday photographs of her were published online. The then-25-year-old was snapped enjoying herself on board a yacht with her partner, and she received cruel, negative comments on her appearance.
Soon afterwards, Lauren removed all photographs of herself from her Instagram account, which has remained blank ever since. Subsequently, Declan's feed reveals no images of Lauren, either.
Declan alluded to the negative connotations that surround football in an interview with British Vogue. When asked to reveal the biggest challenges he faces when representing his country, he quipped, "Dealing with everything that comes with being an England player," and in particular, "the noise."
Declan and Lauren, a relationship timeline
Declan and his partner, Lauren, are childhood sweethearts, meeting in Kingston-upon-Thames at school when both were 17. They welcomed their son, Jude, in 2022, and Declan has a tattoo tribute to him on his forearm.
Arsenal victory
Lauren was right beside Declan in May when Arsenal celebrated the coveted Premier League title win. Declan was seen cuddling Jude and joyously embracing Lauren as the trio basked in Arsenal's glory alongside adoring fans. It was Lauren's first public appearance in two years.
It was a huge moment for the London-based team; the last time they were awarded this title was 22 years ago. The Gunners triumphed in a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
