Following the BBC's decision to pause Call the Midwife, actress Helen George has already moved on to her next project. The 42-year-old has announced a new weekly podcast titled Mystic Mates, co-hosted by her close friend and fellow actor, Yvette Robinson.

The news comes amid reports that Helen has separated from her boyfriend, Dan Innes, only months after they began living together.

Helen's new podcast

Mystic Mates, which launches on 13 July, is billed as a "space for funny, honest and deeply personal conversations," where Helen and Yvette will explore everything from "relationships, motherhood and grief to intuition and spirituality".

The description reads: "Fascination with the mystic has never been more mainstream. As Helen puts it, "mention tarot and everyone suddenly has a story." Whether people believe or not, they're curious. They want to share their own experiences, hear someone else's and linger on the unexplainable.

Helen's reported split from Dan Innes

Last week, The Sun reported that Helen had split from her boyfriend Dan Innes.

According to reports, Dan was seen moving his items out of Helen's London home, which she shares with her two children, Wren Ivy and Lark.

Helen appeared to hint at the break-up on Instagram by reposting a quote that referenced "disrespect," The Sun reports.

The full quote in the now-expired Instagram Story read: "I absolutely take responsibility for when I am wrong. But I will never apologise for responding to disrespect.

"If you lit the match, do not stand in the flames pretending to be the victim."

Helen and Dan's romance

Helen first went public with her relationship with real estate consultant Dan last year, 'soft launching' their romance on social media on Valentine's Day.

Talking to The Mail's You magazine, Helen previously said: "It's a very happy relationship. It's lovely to be with someone outside the industry. I'm not defined by my job, and I’m really interested in meeting the people he works with."

Helen was previously married to Oliver Boot before falling for her Call the Midwife co-star Jack Ashton following her 2015 divorce. Jack and Helen share two young daughters, Wren and Lark.
