Pierce Brosnan's wife Keeley has shared a heartfelt message following the death of feminist activist Gloria Steinham.
Gloria died on Wednesday at her home in New York City, "surrounded by some of the many who loved her", a statement shared on her Instagram account said.
American journalist Keeley, 62, honoured her late friend's death by sharing a photo of her alongside Keeley and her Hollywood husband.
Accompanying the photo, Keeley penned a lengthy message, calling the campaigner a "beacon of light" in the world.
"Farewell, friend. So honoured to have met you and to have spent time with you," Keeley wrote.
You were a beacon of light in this world - a woman of extraordinary courage, grace, intelligence, compassion and beauty.

Keeley continued: "Your profound legacy will continue to inspire all who seek a more equitable, inclusive and healthy world for women everywhere. May there be a special place in heaven for you. Rest in Peace."
Tributes pour in
Moving messages from Gloria's many famous admirers came flooding in following the news on Thursday.
One tribute came from the Duchess of Sussex, who issued her first public message since landing in the UK, in honour of Gloria's death.
Meghan's words were penned alongside an unseen photograph of her eldest child, Prince Archie, who was standing alongside Gloria in grey trousers and a white T-shirt, with a strategic white star over his face to conceal his exact identity.
© InstagramMeghan wrote, as part of a lengthy statement on Instagram, that Gloria spent Thanksgiving dinner with the Sussexes, and loved Archie and Lilibet "with her whole heart."
"Privately, she was even better than you would imagine - spending Thanksgiving with our family, introducing me to one of my best friends (forever the champion of female friendship), loving our children with her whole heart, counselling me during hard times, and giving extraordinary advice and perspective with a cup of tea and an unrivalled cheekiness and wit," Meghan wrote.
