Harper Beckham is clearly following in her mother Victoria Beckham's beauty-obsessed footsteps.

The Spice Girls star has revealed that her 15-year-old daughter Harper has been banned from wearing make-up at school – and she's really not happy about it.

In fact, Harper is so annoyed that she keeps begging her mum to call the school and override the rule.

Victoria made the amusing confession during a chat with Zanna Roberts Rassi in an episode of Commuter Beauty. "How did you stop Harper wearing makeup young?," the journalist queried.

Victoria replied: "She does it quite naturally. She’s really good at applying makeup. Quite recently she said,' They’ve told me that I’m not allowed to wear makeup to school.'"

Victoria then revealed Harper's frustrated reaction was to lament: "Why don’t they want me to look my best?"

"She's like, 'Mummy, can you call the school?'," the fashion designer and beauty entrepreneur joked.

Harper Beckham set to turn love of beauty into a career

She may only be 15, but it seems Harper has her eyes set on becoming the next Kylie Jenner and is reported to be planning an upcoming business called Harlo by Harper.

Her niche? Skincare for teenage, acne-prone skin. The teen has suffered from breakouts in recent years after falling victim to viral brands on TikTok and is said to be keen to help others going through the same thing.

Discussing the venture with entrepreneur Emma Grede, Victoria explained that her daughter accidentally caused her skin to flare up by buying unsuitable products for young, sensitive skin.

'Mummy, can you call the school?', Harper asked Victoria

"She used to have beautiful skin, but like all young girls she was enticed by beauty brands, and she was putting a lot of product on her face that was not suitable for her skin and consequently ended up going to see a dermatologist because her skin was really, really bad", she said.

During a recent appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, Victoria also shared that her teen first made her beauty guru ambitions clear by delivering two PowerPoint presentations to her famous parents.

The mother of four recalled: "One, she wanted a beauty brand, and these are the reasons. No. 2, she wanted a perm. She wanted to perm her hair," she told the hosting duo. "I said, 'Listen, wait till you're older; we'll talk about that for the beauty brand, but no to the perm.'"

Victoria continued: "Harper loves beauty and skincare, ever since she was little. She’s been on my lap while I had my hair and makeup done. She loves sitting in product development meetings with me."

And while Victoria admits that Harper "has a passion", she made it clear that her studies will always come first, adding: "But she’s young. She's in school. She's about to take her exams."
