Rachel says she doesn't want a penny from Rod

Rachel Hunter looked a million dollars when she turned out to help Ultimo launch their new range of lingerie in London. The New Zealander's appearance comes after she replaced Rod Stewart's current partner, Penny Lancaster, as the company's spokesmodel.

Her deal with Ultimo fuelled rumours of a rift between the two beauties, but relations seem to be fine: they were spotted having lunch together in Los Angeles recently.

And Rachel has poured cold water on rumours that she would seek a chunk of the rocker's £65-million fortune in any divorce settlement. "I love marriage, but they need to change the laws," she said. "I think that what you come in with, you should leave with. You don't start making money off someone else's fortune. If there's a genuine love, the other person will always make sure you're not sitting in the gutter."

While his girlfriend and his estranged wife have been building bridges, Rod has received another long-legged visitor at his home. But Penny needn't worry, because the statuesque beauty spotted at his mansion in the Home Counties was a 5ft Australian cassowary. The bird, similar to an emu, had escaped from its enclosure in Epping Green. Thankfully the RSPCA were soon on hand to catch the intruder and take it back to its usual nesting place.
