On Wednesday evening, Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer braved the October chill and stepped out at a high-octane fashion party in London. The Spencer twins, who are the nieces of the late Princess Diana, dressed to impress in their little black dresses, which were crafted in sumptuous displays of black velvet.
The stylish pair attended a party at the Stereo cocktail bar, which was celebrating Dune London's new premium party season collection. Lady Eliza wore a velvet co-ord which gave the illusion of a cut-out dress, but actually consisted of a corset and a high-waisted miniskirt.
Bringing the drama, she added champagne accessories, opting for a pair of Dune London nude strappy sandals with a sparkling matching bag.
Lady Amelia donned a Baroque velvet dress by Annie’s Ibiza, which featured a square neckline and a flattering A-line skirt, which was etched with artisan embroidery. She added a pair of sheer black tights, pointed heels and the same handbag as her sister, but in black.
Also at the party were Tigerlily Taylor, as well as Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull, girlfriends of Cruz and Romeo Beckham.
A Spencer wedding
In the midst of a flurry of fashion parties, a wedding is on the cards. Lady Eliza Spencer announced her engagement to Channing Millerd last summer following his romantic proposal in Santorini.
The pair are planning for the big day in style. The model told HELLO! the engagement is "such an exciting and special chapter for us; we’re really enjoying the process and taking our time with it."
The couple met in South Africa, where Eliza was raised by her mother, former model Victoria Aitken, along with her twin sister and their siblings: Lady Kitty Spencer, 35, Viscount Althorp, 32, and half-brother Samuel Aitken, 23. Eliza's father is Earl Spencer, Diana’s brother.
Eliza was introduced to Channing, 35, at a dinner party hosted 16 years ago by her sister Amelia's now-husband, Greg Mallett. They began dating six years later.
