Helen George seldom fails when it comes to her fashion, and it was no different on Tuesday when she glammed up for an appearance on BBC Radio 2.
The Call the Midwife star, 41, stepped out for the occasion wearing a brown leather mini skirt and a stylish tweed jacket. As for her hair and makeup, the West End star rocked her iconic blonde locks in natural waves, as well as fluttery lashes, rosy blush, and nude lipstick.
"The brilliant Helen George joined @djgarydavies to chat about a new adaptation of the musical, High Society. Catch up on their chat in full over on BBC Sounds!," accompanied the post.
Helen is playing leading lady Tracy Lord at the Barbican from 19 May to 11 July 2026, alongside Felicity Kendall and Freddie Fox, who, in an exclusive interview with HELLO! opened up about the new production.
"I made it very clear at the beginning that I was a newbie to the world of musical theatre and the company has all embraced me and been so reassuring," he said of the upcoming production."
Freddie also opened up about how West End regular Helen has been helping him ahead of his debut. "Today we were singing a number, and I said: "I'm sort of struggling with the diminuendo on this particular note. Helen said, 'Think about doing it that way.' And that changed everything. I’m very aware that I’m playing with the Premier League, which is lovely."
Helen's life away from the stage
When Helen isn't singing her heart out on the West End stage, she is at home with her daughters, Lark and Wren, whom she shares with her ex-partner, Jack Ashton.
The pair fell for one another on the set of the BBC drama in 2014, but sadly called it quits in 2023. Confirming the news of their separation, the thespian pair revealed they were committing to co-parenting their two "beautiful" daughters. "Some months ago, we separated. Our two beautiful girls remain the focus, and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter," their official statement read.
Since then, Helen has found love again with her new beau, real estate consultant Dan Innes.
Talking to The Mail's You magazine, Helen has opened up about her love. "It's a very happy relationship," she said. "It's lovely to be with someone outside the industry. I'm not defined by my job, and I’m really interested in meeting the people he works with."
