Jane Fonda's latest look is a masterclass in modern power dressing at 88. The Grace and Frankie star was out in Los Angeles on Sunday for a screening of the documentary Steal This Story, Please!, and she looked ageless in the most flattering Barbie-esque outfit and effortless glam.

Jane stopped by the Beverly Hills event on 16 August, where she reunited with fellow executive-producer Rosario Dawson, who is best known for her acting and activism work. The 88-year-old looked sensational in a pink long-sleeved blouse which she loosely tucked into a pair of matching belted trousers in the same bright colour.

The star slung a brown handbag over her shoulder and complemented her vibrant co-ord with a dainty gold necklace. She looked incredibly youthful with soft makeup featuring a light foundation, warm blush on her cheeks and glossy pink-hued lipstick that went perfectly with her outfit.

Jane wore her silver bob in her signature stylish waves with strands framing her face.

The Hollywood legend, who is a long-time activist, has taken on a behind the camera role for the upcoming documentary Steal This Story, Please!, which centres around the life and career of political journalist Amy Goodman and opened in UK cinemas on 14 August.

"Steal This Story, Please! is a powerful film about the brave and brilliant Amy Goodman, a truth teller who will enter your heart and inspire you," Jane said in a statement as per The Hollywood Reporter. "As each day brings escalating attacks on free speech and media, this exhilarating film reminds us that silence is complicity. Everyone must see it."

Along with her contributions to cinema and activism, the actress has cemented herself as a style icon across the decades. From her chic off-duty style to her glamorous figure-hugging gowns on red carpets, and strutting the runway in Paris last year, the star has become known for her timeless and age-defying fashion.

"I feel better than I did when I was younger. I have more confidence than I did when I was younger," she previously told Marie Claire.

The star has also opened up about her signature hair style, telling Glamour: "I think my look now. I just think that it flatters me."

"The hair is right for me at this age. I have a permanent wave. My hair is very, very straight and very, very stubborn and I do a lot of travelling by myself. I have to be able to do my own hair. And so I got a perm and it makes it much easier. I like it a lot."
