Demi Moore set our pulses racing on Tuesday night when she stepped out at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards at the American Museum of Natural History.
The Hollywood star, 63, was a vision in denim for the red carpet appearance, rocking a halterneck top in medium-blue denim and adorned with buttons. On the bottom, she wore a matching figure-hugging skirt, complete with a daring thigh-high split.
Her killer ensemble was courtesy of Zac Posen for GAP. Sharing her appreciation for her striking look, Demi penned: "Dolled up in #GapStudio denim by my beloved friend @ZacPosen for this evening’s #CFDAAwards.
"What a joy and honour it was to present @gapinc with the 2026 Innovation Award. Few brands have moved through generations the way Gap has– familiar, iconic, and yet, always finding a way to feel new."
The Ghost starlet wore her lengthy raven-hued tresses down and sleekly straight and positioned onto one side exposing her dazzling diamond drop earrings she chose to accessorise her look.
As for her makeup for the evening, Demi opted for a winning combination of bright pearly eyeshadow, complete with winged black eyeliner and fluttery lashes, as well as rosy pink blusher and pearlescent peach-hued lipstick.
Lisa Rinna replied: "Gorge!" to photos of Demi's look on Instagram; meanwhile, Baywatch reboot star Brooks Nader added three heart-eyes emojis.
Demi talks fashion
Demi is one of the biggest Hollywood stars of her generation, and while she seldom seems to put a foot wrong when it comes to her red carpet sartorial portfolio, she previously told Women's Wear Daily that it hasn't always been plain sailing.
" I've been collecting vintage clothes since I was 15 years old, and I've gone through a variety of looks. Probably some disasters, some things where I could say, 'oh, maybe I was a little ahead of my time. Maybe I didn't quite execute it,'" said Moore.
"Do I feel a little bit of that embarrassment that comes over the biker shorts? But I think about that now, and I think, well, if there was a version of that — and maybe actually there has been somewhat of a version of it — in our current times, that it wouldn’t seem so out of the box."
The biker shorts reference her self-styled 1989 Oscars outfit, which famously landed her on numerous 'worst dressed' lists.
"I think when we’re younger, it's a combination of also finding ourselves, and so there's a lot of trial and error. And even today, the reality is we can do our best to approach it the same every time, but we’re not gonna always hit it out of the park," she said. "It's also knowing to not put too much stakes on what the outside response is when I walk out the door."
"The only pressure I ever feel is really wanting to make everyone proud," she said.
