Queen Letizia is known for her sophisticated sense of style, and never fails to look anything but elegant while out and about on royal engagements. During a visit to the National Museum of Science and Technology on Wednesday, the 44-year-old worked a fashion-forward look, contrasting sharp tailoring with leather skinny trousers. Her slender figure was given added volume with an oversized crisp white jacket, while a pair of patent black leg lengthening heels finished off her ultra-cool look. A wash grey clutch and delicate pair of hoop drop earrings acted as the perfect accessories.

The Queen’s long, glossy, caramel-hued hair was styled in loose curls that cascaded elegantly past her shoulders, while in terms of make-up, Letizia worked a smokey eye look, enhancing her vibrant blue eyes with dark liner, mauve eyeshadow and layers of black mascara. A sweep of rose hued blush and a semi-sheer pink gloss completed her awe-inspiring look. Letizia was at the museum to announce the winner of the Famelab 2017 winner.

Earlier in the month, she worked another head-turning look while celebrating her daughter, Princess Sofia’s First Holy Communion. Posing for a family photo and beaming with pride on the special day, the mum-of-two look simply gorgeous in a summer-ready mint-hued suit dress.

The midi design was adorned with floral lace embroidering and featured delicate cut work on the sleeves. A pair of metallic silver heels added another shade of cool to her outfit, which matched beautifully with her clutch. Letizia styled her long hair in a sophisticated up-do and opted again for a smoky eye and pink lipstick to enhance her natural beauty.

Queen Letizia, just like The Duchess of Cambridge, is known for ability to mix high and low fashion. Back in January, she accessorised a designer gown with affordable jewels. She wore a full-length burgundy gown that featured delicate embroidery by Felipe Varela to greet foreign ambassadors at the Royal Palace in Madrid, and paired the sophisticated frock with a set of matching diamante earrings from the Portuguese brand Parfois – coming in at a price-friendly £5.
